Baker's Hill is famous for their crinkles and hopia. Nagpapark pa lang kami, nangangamoy na ang bango ng bagong baked na hopia ang crinkles. Hehe

Puno yan ng dumating kami, umikot lang ako saglit sa kabilang side wala na agad laman |
Baker's hill also offers a mini park with a beautiful landscape. Ang sabi daw, the owner started a small bakeshop which eventually became successful. As a way to give back to the people, the owner transformed her place to a small park with a one of a kind landscape. Free of charge pa.

PLAZA CUARTEL
Before Plaza Cuartel became a leisure park in 199, it was a military barracks in World War II.
This is the entrance of a narrow tunnel that is enclosed by a gate. 143 prisoners of war were stuffed in this tunnel with no food and water. On December 15,1944, American POW were burned alive in this area.

In the middle of the park, 2 bronze markers were built. The marker on the right side contains the list of the 143 American POW who died in the massacre. The marker on the left side has the list of the names of the 11 survivors with the following engraved words.
"A grim reminder of the realities of war as a price for freedom and the burning to death of 143 American Prisoners of War by their Japanese imperial army Kempie-Tai captors inside tunnel on this site on the fateful evening of December 15,1944."

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHEDRAL
Just across Plaza Cuartel is the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. We really intended to ask the driver to drop by the church. Sakto naman na kasama pala sa itinerary ng tour ang church.
